Rec & Park Board to Vote on Future of JFK Drive
Thursday @ 10 AM

 

On Thursday, 3/10 the Recreation and Park Commission and SFMTA Board of Directors will weigh in on the future of JFK Drive.  This meeting marks the first time the Commission will vote on the future of JFK Drive.  The closure of JFK Drive restricts access for people with disabilities, seniors, families with young children, those who do not live close to the Park, and those who cannot afford to pay for parking. 

 
It is possible to join the meeting in person or remotely.

Rally on City Hall Steps

Prior to the meeting at 9:00 am, we will be hosting a rally on the steps of City Hall where we will be urging the Commissioners to reject the permanent closure of JFK Drive!

Following the rally, we will be making public comments in person at 10 AM to the Recreation and Park Commission and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Board of Directors to reject the permanent closure of JFK Drive. Those unable to stay at City Hall after the rally may join the meeting and provide public comment remotely (with information provided earlier).
